New financial limits for the purpose of the public procurement act categorising public contracts as below-the-limit and above-the-limit came into force on January 1. The Ministry for Regional Development (MMR) said that the limits are related to the directly applicable Regulation of the European Commission binding the Czech Republic and they are regularly updated every two years. The financial limit for construction work contracts, including construction work licences, was reduced to CZK 125.265 mln.
