Czech electricity production from renowable energy resources reached 6,9 %

The gross production of electricity from renewable energy resources accounted for 8.3% of the total domestic consumption in 2010. The Czech Republic has thus exceeded the national indicative share target by 0.3 p.p. 6.9% of electricity last year was produced from renewable resources. This stems from a report by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. According to the report, heat energy from renewable resources accounted for roughly 10% of the total heat production last year. The share of renewable energy on primary energy resources reached 6.6%.
