ENERGY IN EU EXTERNAL AID PROGRAMMES

Seminar is organized by Permanent Representations and Trade Promotion Organizations from eighteen EU Member States, incl. Czech Republic. Theme of forthcoming seminar will be: ENERGY IN EU EXTERNAL AID PROGRAMMES. Final term for registration is 20 October 2011.

Sector seminars are organized in Brussel by EU Member states two or three times a year and are focused on one specific sector at a time. The first sector seminar was held in 1998. At present Permanent Representations and Trade Promotion Organizations from 18 Member States are involved in the organization of the Sector seminars. Three Member States (in a rotating order) are responsible for the logistics of each seminar, while the other countries are responsible for inviting and registering companies of their own nationality.

The next seminar will be focused on ENERGY IN EU EXTERNAL AID PROGRAMMES and will take place in premises of

Hotel Crowne Plaza Brussels, Rue Gineste 3, 1200 Bruxelles, Thursday, 24 November 2011.

Programme topics will include:

- Guidelines on Participation in EU External Aid Programmes

- Opportunities for the Private Sector in ACP countries

- European Financing Instruments and Energy projects

- Company Case Study

- Individual meetings between participating companies

Czech Republic will be at this event represented by several companies, their list will be updated consequently.

Participation fee: 175 EUR. Final term for registration: 20 October 2011
